Some people who have been injured in automobile accidents think that unless they have suffered broken bones their claims are not worth much. However, torn, strained or sprained ligaments or tendons, so-called soft tissue injuries, may still entitle a personal injury victim to a substantial settlement.

Several years ago I tried a case for a very nice woman with soft tissue injuries. Although her medical bills were less than six thousand dollars the jury awarded her one hundred thousand dollars. This was because the jury realized even though she had not broken any bones the injuries she did have had changed her life. At Van Dorn and Curtiss we are dedicated to helping anyone who has suffered serious personal injuries in car accidents.
